The First Commandment That Jesus Taught

“These two commandments, taken together, form the core of the Christian religion.” 
Matthew 22:35-40 | Mark 12:30 | Luke 10:27 | Deuteronomy 6:4-5

FIRST COMMANDMENT:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

SECOND COMMANDMENT:

Love your neighbour as yourself.

These are not just religious rules. They are a blueprint for a fulfilling life. When you love God completely, and love the people around you genuinely, everything else falls into place.

The Cornerstone — Jesus Christ — demonstrates both these commandments perfectly in his own life. By following Him, we learn to live the same way.
